Ubud Village, one of the beautiful places in Bali, Indonesia, has many to offer. The undeniably rich traditions, arts, culture, and local foods are all adjoined to form a holistic way of living for the locals and attract the world.
As you walk through the little alleys, you will be awed to see hundreds of a variety of traditional shops and restaurants. Everyone enjoys working to craft their art on the following path, while some forest monkeys might welcome you as they appear sacred in Bali. You can smell the breeze of PADI villages as you walk out of this little town. Gated by the temple, you will be amazed to witness hundreds of people chanting along the street, carrying their offerings to the Hindu gods as their belief.
This rare place on earth today welcomes people from all over the planet to enjoy and embrace what they can offer without even trying.
About the Artist
Initiated by a non-profit group called ExtravagAsia, a small Indonesian community in Vancouver dedicated themselves to sharing just a little experience of the Ubud Village with some activities, workshops, and little performances. Join us at the TAIWANfest 2022 on September 3-5 on the 600 block of Granville Street, in downtown Vancouver. While there is no monkey to greet you, there will surely be friendly Indonesian mates to welcome you!
Matur Suksma… Thank you!
PERMIKA Vancouver is a group of international students from Indonesia. We were founded in 2019 to facilitate Indonesian students so that they could maximize their studies here at beautiful Vancouver. We distribute important information to students with the hope of making students more up to date with relevant info. In addition, we also hold events to further tie students together and build a healthy relationship between students.
The Ubud Village is supported by PERMIKA volunteers.
